Questions
How long does it take to dry?
Surfaces are walkable immediately but we recommend leaving vehicles off a block-paved driveway for 24 hours if possible, to let any re-sanded joints settle.
Will it damage my block paving or stone?
No — we use appropriate pressure settings for each surface type. High-pressure on old sandstone or soft brick would damage it, so we adjust accordingly.
Do you re-sand block paving afterwards?
Kiln-dried sand is available as an add-on for block paving. It replaces the joint sand dislodged during cleaning and stops weeds re-establishing quickly.
How often does it need doing?
On the Wirral, every 1–2 years is typical. North-facing or shaded areas may need annual treatment due to algae growth.
