How long does timber fencing last?
Properly treated closeboard or featheredge fencing lasts 15–20 years. Panel fencing (the cheaper option) typically lasts 8–12 years. We always use pressure-treated timber.
Do I need planning permission for a fence?
For most residential boundaries up to 2 metres, no planning permission is needed. We'll flag if your situation looks like it might need a check — but most domestic jobs are straightforward.
Can you match my existing fence style?
Usually yes. We carry standard profiles and can source matching timber. Send us a photo when you enquire and we will confirm.
Storm season is coming — can you repair urgently?
For existing clients, yes. For new enquiries, we aim to respond within 24 hours and prioritise damage repairs where there is a security or safety concern.
